ONTarget is hosting a one day Club Level ISSF Pistol Competitions Officials’ Course.

Location: Pan Am Legacy Shooting Range at the Toronto International Rifle and Pistol Club, 2nd floor in the 10m Air Range

Date: Sunday November 26th, 2023

Time: 10 am to 2pm

Prerequisites: 

  • Some experience as a club range officer
  • Preferably some experience in ISSF pistol events

Participants will learn:

  • The role of the competition organisation and match officials
  • The guiding principles and philosophy of SFC Officals
  • Organising and staffing a club match
  • Rules and regulations for common pistol competitions
  • Scoring paper targets

Cost: $60 for members. ONTarget membership is required.

SFC membership is recommended (apply at https://www.sfc-ftc.ca).

NOTE: 

  • If you took the 2017 ONTarget Club Level Competition Officials’ course, you do NOT need to take this course. The same material will be covered.
  • Dress warm, the range is minimally heated.
  • Bring your own lunch.
