It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of Louis Anderson last Thursday Nov 13, 2025.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Yes, the very same Lou that you received your LSBA announcements and match notices throughout the year. Lou took over running the LSBA matches since 1960s (!!!) and ran them until 2025.<\/p>\n

Yes, the very same Lou who worked tirelessly in the back rooms at the Doubletree Hotel when the Canadian Airgun Grand Prix was held there.<\/p>\n

Yes, the very same Lou who worked countless Provincials, Nationals. Always helping shooters in whatever way he could.<\/p>\n

And yet, it’s hard to find photos of him. He was always present, but never in the spotlight. He was happy to let others take the glory, but he put in the hard work to make competitions for us possible.<\/p>\n

Our sport owes Lou and many others like Lou, who are always there, doing the hard work.<\/p>\n

We will forever be in your debt Lou, thank you for everything you’ve done for the Shooting Sports in Canada. Rest in peace.<\/p>\n
