{"id":1815,"date":"2022-03-17T15:58:06","date_gmt":"2022-03-17T19:58:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ontariotarget.ca\/?p=1815"},"modified":"2022-03-18T01:31:10","modified_gmt":"2022-03-18T05:31:10","slug":"special-club-level-qfg-funding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ontariotarget.ca\/index.php\/special-club-level-qfg-funding\/","title":{"rendered":"Special Club level QFG Funding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ontariotarget.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Ministers-Letter-Club-and-QFG-Funding-Shooters.pdf\">Minister&#8217;s Letter &#8211; Club and QFG Funding &#8211; Shooters<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lisa MacLeod, Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries has advised the Ontario Council of Shooters that we could receive up to $225,316.77 provincial funding. What that means is that up to $202,785.00 in available funding could be divided amongst those clubs that have members under the OCS\u2019s Member Organizations (made up of MLIMLA, ONTarget, OOTA, OPYA, ORA, OSSA) after the 10% Administrative fee has been retained.<\/p>\n<p>These Funds must be distributed by May 31, 2022 and must be applied for by notifiying ONTarget by return email (<a href=\"mailto:president@ontariotarget.ca\">president@ontariotarget.ca<\/a>) <u>by end of day Sunday, March 20, 2022<\/u> that must include the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name of the community sport club<\/li>\n<li>Location of the member community sport club, (city, town)<\/li>\n<li>Contact name and email address from each member community sport club (club contact)<\/li>\n<li>Discipline(s) of that club (NOTE: If a club is multi disciplined, the club may only be funded once.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eligibility for funding under the Ministry Amending Agreement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only community sport clubs that are members of MLIMLA, ONTarget, OOTA, OPTA, ORA, OSSA, are eligible to receive Funds<\/li>\n<li>Member community sport clubs supported through this funds will need to demonstrate that they incurred COVID-19 related expenses<\/li>\n<li>Eligible COVID-related expenses may be:\n<ul>\n<li>increased operating costs directly related to the pandemic (e.g. costs of purchasing personal protective equipment, guards, sanitizing supplies);<\/li>\n<li>reduction of members and membership revenue during the pandemic;<\/li>\n<li>increased facility costs required to comply with the Reopening Ontario Act, 2020 and its regulations;<\/li>\n<li>operating deficits to maintain programming for fewer participants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>*Please note that we can\u2019t be responsible for clubs that did not receive this notice or missed the application deadline.*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minister&#8217;s Letter &#8211; Club and QFG Funding &#8211; Shooters Lisa MacLeod, Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries has advised the Ontario Council of Shooters that we could receive up to $225,316.77 provincial funding.
